By using Seuil you agree to these terms.
The service
Seuil provides French-language lessons, practice, and AI-generated feedback to help you prepare for proficiency exams (TEF/TCF). Feedback and estimated levels are for practice only and are not official scores or a guarantee of exam results.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information when signing up. You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your region) to use Seuil.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: no unlawful, abusive, or infringing content; no attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users’ data; no automated scraping or resale.
Your content
You retain ownership of the recordings and text you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that content to provide the service (e.g. generate feedback). You can delete your content and account at any time from Settings.
AI feedback disclaimer
Feedback, transcriptions, and level estimates are generated automatically and may contain errors. Use them as practice guidance, not as definitive assessment.
Trademarks and independence
Seuil is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, authorized, endorsed by, or sponsored by the organizations that own the TEF (CCI Paris Île-de-France) or TCF (France Éducation international) exams, or any other exam body. “TEF”, “TCF”, and related names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only descriptively to indicate what Seuil helps you prepare for.
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim for reliable service but provide it “as is” without warranties to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seuil is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using Seuil and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
